Timmie, part duh

Today, Timmie reminded me of all the fun we used to have when we lived in SoBe (yes, before it got really lame and they let anyone hang out there...circa 1998-today) and we used to while away the hours watching AbFab and eating Entenmann's crumb cake. We weren't fat or lazy...we were pretty and hot and oftentimes full-of-ourselves, especially when going out to clubs or bars, but when we entered the "Sleeping Chamber" of Timmie's ramshackle apartment (they did have a roach problem in the building even though he claims he didn't have any in his apartment...whatever) [CORRECTION: Timmie insisted that his apartment was not ramshackle, which upon reflection is probably accurate. It looked more like a granny's apartment, so I stand corrected, but there were roaches in that building!] we laughed our a$$es off and would finish off that whole box of cake. Timmie would probably add something about me having to rush to the bathroom afterwards. I don't know if that's even true. That cake never made me sick. Poor people made me sick. They still do. I don't care much for hippies (i.e. environmentalists) either. But I digest.

An early Spring teaser in Georgetown

Beautiful, 65 degrees in Georgetown today.

(Sorry all you commenters that this isn't a snarky posting. Sometimes the weather is nice and you want to tell people about it. Just because things suck in Japan doesn't mean you can't enjoy yourself. It has nothing to do with you. You didn't cause any earthquakes...Carli, this doesn't apply to you...)

Yes, that is Treblinka on the far right.

OMG - This is Insane!

Thanks Carter.

P.S. Carli told me that if gas tops $5/gallon she'll do herself in. Keep a lookout.

P.P.S. If anyone can tell me the name of the infamous building behind this Washington, DC gas station, you win...

Happy St. Patty's Day from Carli

As you can see, my friend Carli just loves St. Patty's Day...really gets into the spirit of things. This is a photo taken earlier today at her office. Her office is obviously in a nuclear steam cloud that allows for silhouetting images.

Introducing Timmie

This is my dear friend Timmie as I remember him before he got old. He told me that if I posted something about him on here that I'd get more hits. He's probably right. He was quite the looker in his day (circa 1990s). While he's quite distinguished-looking now, I wouldn't dare put a contemporary photo on here because I'd have to pay AARP, DePuy hip replacement, and Cialis royalties. (I hope you're happy Timmie for making me do this.)

This is my friend Jo@n...

...She will kill me when she sees I posted this. But until I hear otherwise, this post stays. This photo was taken when Joan and I took a schooner around Manhattan. Neither of us had to make doody.

I will not be ignored

Since my warnings have gone unheeded, I have no other alternative but to shame the intended recipient into commenting. Thusly, I have placed an order for (3) servings of pork dumplings with your favorite SoHo "restaurant", Golden Wok, which shall be delivered to your office address momentarily. And yes, I requested that they be undercooked...just the way you like your pork. Bon Appetit Bee___TCH
